Biography :

Emmanuel Le Meur studied electronics engineering at the French Institut Supérieur D’Electronique de Paris (ISEP), where he received his Dipl. Ing. in 1996. During this time he worked in projects for the former THOMSON CSF (now THALES) in the area of Image processing and for the former CNET (now France Telecom R & D ) in the areas of  DSP implementation and speech coding.

After being diplomed he joined the former THOMSON-CSF Communications (now THALES Communications), where he was developing DSP software for Military Mobile Radios (PMR, Vehicle Radios – HF & VHF). This function included the development and simulation of modem algorithms and the implementation in C and assembly language, and their verification.

In 2001 he joined Infineon Technologies design center in Sophia-Antipolis, where he worked on the firmware implementation of UMTS algorithms for a baseband chip for 3G mobile Handsets.  He is now the manager of the firmware team in Sophia-Antipolis, developing firmware for DSP subsystems, for baseband chips for 2/2.5 and 3G Handsets.
